I lost both my parents when I was very young. Since age 3 I grew up inside the Dutch youth care system. Children's homes, institutions, group homes. By the time I left, I had no education, no foundation, no roadmap. I spent the next decade making every wrong choice that environment had taught me to make.
I lost everything more than once. Prison. Homelessness. A car for a bedroom, then a shelter. The hardest part wasn't the lack of money. It was the feeling that life kept resetting to zero no matter how hard I tried.
Carpentry was where I first became functional. Years of physical labor and early mornings. Stable, finally, but trading every hour I had for every euro I made. When I discovered network marketing, I saw leverage for the first time. I built a real team and lived inside real income, for a while. Then the company collapsed and I lost it all again.
I lost tens of thousands more chasing the next opportunity after that. Hype, empty promises, leaders without integrity. Until I found something built on real product, real infrastructure, and a real long-term vision. That is the only thing I will ever put my name on again.
